Our team is looking for a DevOps Engineer who can support Atlassian and related products within Goldman’s productivity and collaboration environment. This role will work closely with the Collaboration product owners to build, deploy and manage Atlassian's products (JIRA, Confluence, and others) and other related products in both the on-premise and AWS cloud environments. The candidate will design solutions to integrate these products with Goldman Sachs' specific systems as well as 3rd party vendors (examples: ServiceNow, Qualtrics, Smartsheet, Salesforce, PingFederate). The role will assist in the evaluation and implementation of 3rd party plugins for the Atlassian ecosystem. A technical understanding of how to deploy and integrate the Atlassian and other related products while managing risk when connecting to other systems will be required. The candidate will assist in the migration of legacy instances of on-premise deployments of Atlassian products to the AWS cloud infrastructure. Additional responsibilities will include planning and executing the upgrades of on-premise and AWS deployments of Atlassian products to future versions. A successful candidate will need experience in maintaining Linux runtime environments, a thorough understanding of the AWS platform and a familiarity with Atlassian products.

The Developer Collaboration DevOps team is looking for a hands-on engineer with experience building and maintaining runtime environments across the Linux and Windows space for both on-premise and AWS environments.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience building and managing infrastructure in AWS.
- Experience with Atlassian products such as Confluence, JIRA, JIRA Align, and Service Desk.
- Experience building and managing infrastructure in AWS.
- Experience with Terraform to deploy and manage AWS infrastructure
- Experience working in global engineering teams and multi-tiered architectures.
- Experienced working with Cloud based platforms and methodologies.
- Versed in DevOps and Agile principles, SDLC concepts.
- Experience of front line support and liaison with business developers and infrastructure teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Scripting experience including Bash and Python.
- Experience with SDLC tooling such as Git/Maven/Gradle and continuous integration platforms such as Jenkins.
- Experience with runtime process automation tooling.
- Experience with compute provisioning on a Cloud based platform.
- Experience supporting and deploying web and messaging apps.
