Job Description:

Medline India is looking for a Dot Net Developer located in the Information Services division. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that support Master Data applications within Medline. Will work closely with the business community and I/S analysts to perform technical analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to: new program development, configuration of existing systems, new package/system evaluation or a combination of these options. Has an emphasis for designing solutions that balance business need and technical complexity. Has experience working in entire development lifecycle for an application, including both back-end and front-end development. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

Required

• Minimum 3 years of Dot Net web application development.
• C#, ASP.Net Web Forms & MVC using .Net Framework 4.0 and above.
• Web API using Dot Net Core or standard framework.
• SQL Server 2012 and above.
• HTML/CSS, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, JavaScript.
• SVN / GIT / Bitbucket repository.
• Experience working in Scrum teams.
• Familiar with design patterns.
• A Good understanding of OOP principles.
• Familiar with MVC and SOA.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support application software.
• Work independently on medium to high complexity designs & programs.
• Analyze production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution.
• Follow and help to establish architectural standards.
• Create and deliver documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts.
• Support existing systems and prioritize and escalate issues.
• Understand Master data business concepts and practices.
• Estimate effort and write technical specifications that accurately reflect the design requirements and standards.
• Create functional code from design specifications for new development, enhancements or maintenance projects.
• Develop test plans, prepare test data, test, and document results for unit testing.
• Analyze database constructs and create database design specifications associated with new development or enhancements.
• Support existing applications following documented procedures for change control and issue tracking.
• Provide customer support and conduct customer training as required.
• Maintains a professional demeanor at all times.
• Consistently able to interact professionally and work productively with all levels of Medline employees.
• Follows Medline’s Code of Ethics and other corporate policies.
• Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for technical and business suitability.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
