Responsibilities and Duties

The developer will build the entire app life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
Design and build advanced applications for the Android or IOS App platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Familiarity with APIs to connect Android and IOS applications to back-end services.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”.
Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Understanding of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
