Job Description:

Extensive hands-on experience in building, deploying, and scaling high availability Linux/JAVA web applications and services in large scale cloud environments .
Extensive experience in Open Source UNIX and Linux operating systems including Ubuntu/Debian or CentOS/RedHat, FreeBSD.
Experience in infrastructure automation with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsfot Azure, vCloud, or LINUX Containers (Docker, LXC, OpenVZ).
Experience in writing tools in Node.js to automate testing, manage infrastructure or analyze datasets.
Hands on experience in building automation scripts for setting up Mongo Database clusters.
Strong in database security, replication & redundancy concepts.
Strong experience in Mongo database performance tuning.
In addition to thorough database understanding, experience with developing nodejs applications on MongoDB is an added advantage.

Skills & Requirements :

Application configuration and deployment on cloud based servers.
Application stack (pre-requisites) maintenance (app servers, frameworks, and plugins).
Application monitoring Incident and log management.
Security and access administration.
Database administration/migration.
Hardware and network configuration and deployment.
System monitoring, troubleshooting and problem solving across application components.
Experience of working on cloud based system preferably AWS (or Azure).
Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent(good to have).
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous.
Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working closely within small teams.
Experience with version control systems such as TFS, SVN.
Experience in development with scripting languages.
Knowledge of Web Service APIs, SOAP, Restful.
