About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage source code repository using Bitbucket (Git) as the version control system
2. Perform code merges to keep up the branches in sync
3. Build robust continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline for different web and mobile products using Jenkins
4. Create and maintain Maven POM files and ensure traceability of the snapshot versions
5. Build an effective monitoring system (dashboard) for build failures and build agents status
6. Analyze the tasks that are performed manually and can be replaced with code

Other requirements

1. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and detail-oriented associate build and release engineer who is keen on learning new DevOps technologies

2. Must possess a solid understanding of the Linux operating system, Linux system commands, version control system, branching and merging process, CI/CD pipeline tools, code quality tools, and its integration with CI

3. Should have 1+ year of the learning experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins/TeamCity/GoCD

4. Expertise in troubleshooting build and environment issues

5. Expertise with build and release tools such as Maven, Ant, Gradle, xcodebuild

6. Strong coding ability in Python, Perl, Ruby, Groovy, and Shell

7. Education: BS or MS in computer science/engineering, mathematics, statistics or similar degree from a top tier institution
