Job Description

The DevOps Reliability Engineering Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks. Enable and increase adoption of Self-service CICD and DevOps Practices, support, monitor and Enhance the current CICD pipeline operations and implementations by working with CTI and global Engineering teams

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of relevant experience in an Development, DevOps, CICD , tools, Agile,
• Must have implemented or supported for at-least 5 years of support different platforms like Java, .NET, Tibco, springboot, iOS & Android
• Must have knowledge of Cloud technologies
• Experience of implementing and supporting source code management and CICD pipeline
• Minimum 2-3 yrs hands on experience of tools such as IBM RTC, Git, Jenkins, sonarqube, JIRA etc...
• Must have scripting knowledge and experience of Perl, Shell, python and other scripting languages
• Must have working knowledge of core Java. J2EE , springboot and Oracle database operations required for automation
• Must have knowledge of docker, Kubernetes, Openshift platforms.
• Must be able to create reports, metrics
• Should be able to interact and communicate with stakeholders different countries within APAC & EMEA region
• Good communication skills
• Ability to plan and organize workload
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
  

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Project Management experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Implement and support adoption of DevOps, CI/CD process, Openshift container platform across the GCT APAC & EMEA teams.
• Fine tune and automate the existing manual steps and processes
• Design, implement and support the necessary solution as needed by development teams.
• Help development Teams adopt the Openshift kubernetes platform for CICD and  the issues.
• Plan, Execute & Support platform migrations as required
• Work with different stakeholders such as development teams, infrastructure, project management, Testing to come up with implementation and track it to closure.
• Partner with CTI (infra) and Engineering teams to the gaps by designing the new solutions and implementing them.
• guide & mentor offshore team consisting of vendor staff on day-to-day tasks
