The Standards Commercial Delivery Squad (SCDS) is a new agile (BizDevOps) team that is responsible for specification-to-production of customised SWIFT Standards assets for deployment in mission-critical production solutions at the heart of the global financial system. The SCDS will define, develop, deploy, govern, support, and maintain solution-specific packages of ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT standard definitions to internal and external customers.

These customers include SWIFT and partner interface applications, business applications, and cloud solutions (including main SWIFTNet message flow),who will use these packages to deliver valuable, mission-critical capabilities such as format validation, translation, visualisation, entry/repair, and more.

Technologically-speaking, the core of the Universal Standard Archive project is about building automated delivery pipelines using Jenkins and any of the usual automation/scripting languages.

The packages will need to be flexibly configurable/multi-purpose - with a very high focus on quality and testing because they will be deployed into SWIFT’s main message flow, which requires 5x9s uptime.

There will also be a bit of development and customisation of the contents of the packages, so understanding of the 4gl and other common standards delivery technologies that they contain is important. We need a confident, multi-skilled contributor: - Software development and scripting experience Java, Python, Perl, Ant, or similar. Model-driven development an advantage.- 4GL/Mapping and formal rule definition languages. (SWIFT Translator or Trace Transformer exposure a distinct advantage.)

- Proven agile software development and governance experience.

Confidence in working with agile teams/tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins)

- Integration, testing, and automation mind-set.

- Flexibility/adaptability to react quickly to changing requirements in a competitive market.

- Confident communicator, fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading),additional languages are an asset.- Confident project manager, able to coordinate and manage teams priorities

- Experience in standards governance and development practices and SWIFT’s MyStandards product line a key asset.
