About You

The Merchandising team maintains and manages all customer- and partner-facing content on the AppSmart marketplace. As a Digital Content Specialist, you will work mainly inside the content management system of the AppSmart marketplace, and work closely with the AppSmart web development team to ensure that a world-class experience for our customers. You must be comfortable manipulating and updating text, images, and other resources in a product catalog management system. You will maintain clean, accurate, well-organized content, while executing on complex marketing and product launch plans across the AppSmart marketplace.
What You'll Do And How You'll Make An Impact

• Day-to-day duties include the creation and publishing of merchandising assets, product pages, and marketing initiatives, while handling multiple versions of content and image assets across a multitude of product lines and customer segments.
• You are expected to actively validate your own work and that of your teammates, maintaining the highest level of quality in everything that you do.
• You will also help the team to identify and drive continuous improvements to development and production processes as you work with various teams.
• Other responsibilities include support, testing, and implementation of tooling and system features, creation and maintenance of documentation, and training teammates.

What You'll Need

• BA or BS degree from an accredited four-year university
• 2-4 years of experience in technology, operations, e-commerce and/or customer support organization.
• Knowledge and experience with online content management systems.
• A quick, flexible learner that can adapt to constant change and ambiguous situations.
• Utmost attention to detail. Exhibits high degree of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to remain calm and good-natured while experiencing aggressive deadlines and increased complexity.
• Able to accommodate flexible work schedule during critical business periods.
• Strong English language writing skills.
