DevOps Engineers on the Release Infrastructure team architect, build, and maintain infrastructure for storing, building, and publishing source code used by developers across FactSet. Our infrastructure supports a wide breadth of languages, including JavaScript, C#, Go, and Python. As a member of our team you’ll find yourself using many of these languages in your daily work. 

Your daily responsibilities will have you operating in both the development and systems world. You’ll deploy infrastructure to the cloud while writing software that helps scale the systems and workflows that we support for our internal consumers. You’ll tackle challenging problems, work with cutting-edge technologies, and directly support engineers across FactSet. Responsibilities: Automate setup and monitoring of infrastructure and services, such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory Participate in an on-call rotation Design and build new self-service APIs, web portals, and CLIs Support teams with on-boarding and integrating with our infrastructure Contribute new features, fixes, and refactors to the Publisher Service Perform code reviews and coach engineers with respect to best practices Think and communicate critically about architecture, design, and best practices Estimate task sizes and regularly communicate progress in daily standups and biweekly Scrum meetings Coordinate with other teams across offices and departments 

Required Skills: 

4+ years of relevant industry experience Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Comfortable working in a shell environment with a good understanding of Linux Experience developing in high-level languages such as Go, JavaScript, or Python. Experience building infrastructure automation Experience on provisioning infrastructure in AWS through Terraform Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Delivery best practices Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly Desired Skills: Good knowledge of Go, ReactJS, and/or Java Familiarity with the following platforms: Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory. Familiarity with the following technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.
