Job Description

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop and implement an effective search strategy based on audience insights and search behavior, map, and improve our client's SERPs with competition on targeted keywords, perform ongoing keyword research and discovery, expansion, and optimization
2. Work on tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
3. Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs and achieve maximum ROI from the spend
4. Create and optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
5. Research and analyze competitor advertising links and keywords
6. Work with the technology team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all our client's properties
7. Work with the digital marketing team to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
8. Work on recommending changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
9. Work on generating leads for our clients
10. Manage Google AdWords and Google Analytics, SEO, and SEM

Other requirements

1. Must have a bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in advertising, computer science, or mathematics/statistics)

2. Must have a functional understanding of HTML & CSS and the ability to guide technology teams on implementing essential on-site SEO elements and offsite projects like Google AMP

3. Must have a passion for the internet and digital marketing

4. Must have the ability to work across teams, manage projects & multi-task with attention to detail
