About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements
2. Design, assemble and create overall email marketing campaigns
3. Ensure messages are sent in proper form and template
4. Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
5. Include specific graphics, incentives, and detailed descriptions
6. Develop a personalization strategy
7. Ensure design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly
8. Create a database of emails for lead generation
9. Include persuasive 'call-to-actions' in advertisements and promotions
10. Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team
11. Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance
12. Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously
13. Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards
14. Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth
