About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Plan and execute all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
2. Design, build, and maintain our social media presence
3. Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including database management, follow-up, and new market research
4. Design and create engaging social media posts in various formats (graphic, video, carousel) and repurpose data into infographics and doodles
5. Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
6. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
7. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
8. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
9. Utilize strong analytical abilities to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and touchpoints
10. Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
11. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
12. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Requirements:
1. BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
2. Proven working experience in digital marketing
3. Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
4. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
5. Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
6. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
