Key Responsibilities As we progress in the Digital journey at Godrej & Boyce, the incumbent will manage and lead execution of digital initiatives both at the group level and at business units. Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure projects achieve necessary milestones successfully, while adhering to defined time and resource allocation. The key responsibilities will include:
Project PlanningProject Execution & ReviewWays of Working Job Description 1.Project PlanningManage and deliver required outcomes for a portfolio of major projects in order to support the overall project management strategyDevelop workplan for projects to define requirements in terms of staffing, timelines and cost in collaboration with the business units / corporate functionsInteract with key stakeholders of the project to identify key success factors and milestones of the projects and track the sameProject Execution & ReviewMaintain and update detailed project plans that will drive expert schedule, resource and internal client management and drive their implementationTrack and develop reports on project performance to present to associated stakeholders at regular intervalsDiscuss with the team and highlight possible risks or malfunctions for timely resolutionMonitor the outcome of the digital initiatives to ensure it is at par with the predefined expectationsParticipate in the overall improvement efforts of the Digital team by seeking opportunities for feedback and developmentCommunicate and monitor external partners such as vendors to ensure seamless project executionWays of WorkingGuide the team in using agile / scrum practices in project developmentFacilitate timely discussions within the team and with external stakeholdersProvide necessary support to the team using a servant leadership style wherever possible
Qualification Details Essential Qualification: Degree in any field of Engineering and Master of Business Administration Preferred Qualification: Degree in any field of Engineering and Master of Business Administration Experience Details Essential Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience post qualification Preferred Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience post qualification Special Skill 1.Basic understanding of information architecture and interpretation of business analytics
Basic knowledge of upcoming digital technologies like IIoT, AI, social media analytics etc.Experience in managing large scale digital project management and software development across the entire lifecycleProven track record of completing quality projects on time, as well as a proven track record in coaching and mentoring others to successGood understanding of development processes (agile and other latest methodologies),quality and testing best practices.See ahead to future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies.Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
