Job Overview
High performance team member needed to organize, coordinate and perform digital production activities for various General Mills websites and other distribution methods as business dictates.
Work closely with business and producers to design and code the newsletters as per requirement. Partner with our web development and design teams to update the website and internal web tools to make them more efficient. Will also be responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability.

Of Time Front End Development
Translation of the UI/UX design to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. Responsible for implementing what users see and interact within a web application.
Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
Code and make responsive newsletters as per the designs provided by the designers or use readymade templates to customize as per needs.
- 25% of Time Content Management System:
Manage content on various sites with appropriate Meta Data tags and images using different CMSs. Prior experience with publishing content through CMS like SiteCore and others is preferable. Work closely with content partners to communicate requirements and create high-quality content.
Responsibilities
- Work with contractors to get the content authoring work done by them (assigning and reviewing).
- Be POC between contractors and clients. Help solve questions and guide the contractors
- Ensure content is updated within timelines and data quality is achieved
- Use Photoshop for cropping, editing, resizing images
- Select appropriate metadata to ensure optimal search results for content and assets
- Edit and write Content when required
- Manage digital assets of General Mills. Archive, determine appropriate and apply metadata to wide range of assets including: logos, packaging, cookbooks, recipes, videos, advertisements etc.
- Review the sites AESTHETICS (element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
Check Page Layouts and Review HTML to fix issues if any

Of Time Collaboration
- Proactively problem-solve system, content and digital asset issues.
- Work collaboratively with US members and maintain on-going communication. Need to get on calls and email clients/stakeholders whenever required
- Use JIRA to track Projects
- Support use of SharePoint site for digital content communication

- Work on Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives focusing on increasing efficiencies and automation wherever needed. Seek opportunities to enhance processes and work flows
- Participate in various training programs (soft skills, functional skills) rolled out by GIC India
- Update documentation as needed or whenever process changes happen
- Track and report metrics on a regular basis

Specific Job Experience Or Skills Needed
- Front end development skills – HTML5, CSS
- Experience working on Sitecore is great advantage
- Content editing and writing skills desired
- Broad understanding of online content and metadata strategies.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop to edit digital images
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize large and diverse workload to meet deadlines
