Job Description

Director, ICGEB China Regional Research Centre

Duty Station: Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, China

The ICGEB China Regional Research Centre (RRC) is a new collaboration between China National Center for Biotechnology Development (CNCBD),China Medical City (CMC) in Taizhou, and the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB),an intergovernmental organisation.

The ICGEB China RRC aims to become a centre of innovation, combining high-level scientific research with a technology commercialization centre, and a world-class new drug development centre.

The ICGEB RRC is looking for a visionary Director, who will have the unique opportunity to select and manage a multidisciplinary team of scientists and to develop a comprehensive and forward-looking strategy for translational science at the ICGEB China RRC. The Director is expected to lead his/her own team of scientists and to coordinate the efforts of the other PIs to address their common aims.
