Director of Research/ Director of Extension/ Dean of P.G Studies job vacancies in Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University
1. Director of
Research
Qualifications : 1. A Bachelor degree in First Class in any discipline of Agriculture sciences (includes Agricultural Engineering & Technology and Home Science) from a recognized University. 2. A Master’s degree in any discipline of Agriculture Sciences (includes Agricultural Engineering & Technology and Home Science) from a recognized University with First Class. 3. A Doctoral degree in any discipline of Agriculture Sciences (includes Agricultural Engineering & Technology and Home Science) from a recognized University. 4. An eminent Teacher or Scientist, having atleast 20 years of experience in the field of Teaching or Research or Extension in Universities/Colleges, out of which atleast 8 years shall be in the cadre of regular Professor. 5. Evidence of Ten best publications in NAAS rated Journals in relevant field. 6. A minimum of 75% score as stipulated in the score card prescribed by the PJTSAU. 7. Ability to initiate, organize and coordinate teaching, research and extension education activities. 8. He/She shall have a minimum of 2 years of leftover service as on the last date for submission of application 9. Unblemished record throughout the career.
Desirable : Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology mediated teaching-learning process; and engagement in academic activities as Office in-charge Academic Activities/PG Academic I/c. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the position of Associate Dean/Associate Director of Research/Dean at any College or Institute/Director of Institute. Proven record of engagement in initiation, formulation and execution of externally funded and Consultancy research projects as PI or Co-PI and seed production activities duly approved by the competent authority. Proven record of developing innovative extension education/research tools/techniques/methods/technology dissemination process/ literature/ course material etc. Proven record of engagement in extension activities like participatory technology development, organizing technology dissemination activities such as on-farm trails/demonstration, field day, diagnostic visits, focused group discussions, group meetings, Kisan Melas, organising capacity building activities such as trainings, development of ICT mediated innovative modules etc. Experience of guiding atleast five post graduate (M.Sc/Ph.D) students.

Manager/ RAWEP/ Industry implant training/Experiential learning and placement
activities; Community work etc for 3 years. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the position
of Associate Dean/Dean at any College or 5 years’ experience shall be in the
position of Head of the Department. Experience of guiding atleast five post
graduate (M.Sc/Ph.D) students.
Pay Scale : Pay scale of Rs.1,44,200 – 2,18,200 In Revised UGC Pay scales of 2016
