Director (Projects)  job recruitment in Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.

Qualification :  Applicant should be a graduate in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university/institute with good academic record. Applicants holding MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in management will have an added advantage.

Experience :  The applicant should possess adequate experience at a senior level of management in a large organization of repute, out of which at least two years cumulative experience during the last ten years should have been in project planning/design/execution/management. Experience in power-transmission is desirable.

Scale of Pay :  Rs. 180000-340000 (IDA)

Age Limit :  Age of superannuation 60 years

POWERGRID, as on July 2009, owns and operates about 71,600 ckt kms of transmission lines at 800/765 kV, 400 kV, 220 kV & 132 kV EHVAC & +500 kV HVDC levels and 122 sub-stations with transformation capacity of about 81,200 MVA.
