District Programme Manager/ Block Programme Manager recruitment in Department of Rural Development and Panchayats - Govt.of Punjab

1.District Programme Manager /01 Post (Gen)

Qualification: Post graduate degree or diploma or post graduation in Rural Development/ Management/ Business/ Administration/ Agriculture Business / Business Management/ Social Work/Sociology/Agriculture with Ist Division.

He/She should have atleast 5 years post qualification experience in the implementation of Rural Programme. Experience of Successfully leading large team and multi disciplinary team as well as executing livelihood, SHG's and Rural Development Programmes with demonstration. Having work experience of the institutions and capacity building of multi-tier community institutions essentially with SHG federation/Producer companies, preferably in livelihoods and/or Micro Finance Sector. Proficiency in working with Ms Office Application and Internet is required. Candidate should have passed Punjabi Language at Matric Level.

Salary: Rs. 45000

2. District Functional Manager /02 ( 01 Gen, 01 SC)

Qualification: Post graduate degree or diploma or Post-Graduation in Rural Development/ Management/ Business Administration/ Agri Business Management/ Social Science/ Agriculture/ Accounts with Division.

He/ she should have at least 4 (Four) years post qualification of relevant work experience. He should have experience in project appraisal- technical, financial and commercial of non-farm sector based activities. Person having practical experience in preparation, technical and financial appraisal and implementation of livelihood projects at the national or state level will be given due weightage. Candidate Should have passed Punjabi language at Matric Level.

Salary : Rs. 30000

3.Block Programme Manager /03 Post (02 SC and 1 Ex service man )

Qualification: Min.Graduate/Preferably Post graduate in Rural Development/ Management/Business/Administration/Agriculture Business /Business Management/Social Work/Sociology/Commerce etc. with 1 Division.

He/She should have atleast 2 years post qualification and 3 years for graduate post qualification of relevant work experience of working with community institutions their federation and Producer group on Livelihood Issues (Rural Development). Person having practical experience in prepration in technical and financial appraisal and implementation of Livelihood Projects at National or State Level will be given due weightage. Candidate should have passed Punjabi Language at Matric Level.

Salary: Rs.25000

Maximum age limit: 55 years

The Rural Development and Panchayats Department is responsible for the implementation of various centrally Sponsored and State Funded Schemes for poverty alleviation, employment generation, sanitation, capacity building, women's social and economic empowerments, apart from provision of basic amenities and services.
