Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
2. Designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performance efficient applications
3. Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
4. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
5. Implementing security and data protection
6. Working on event-driven programming in Python
7. Integrating data storage solutions
8. Managing Linux servers
