The Hitachi ABB Power Grids Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 900 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi ABB Power Grid’s units in more than 25 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 60 countries.
Your Responsibilities
- Handling priority deliveries to support customer to meet their target.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective communication program.
- Use the organization branding guidelines for the document preparation.
- Supporting the monthly/quarterly review cycle by preparing templates and reporting packages and ensuring their timely distribution.
- Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree with a reputed university.
- 4-8 Years of experience in document preparation.
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated skills in writing and editing.
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word & Powerpoint).
- Effectively communicates and provides relevant information to stakeholders and customers.
- Ability to adapt to emerging technologies.
- Very good communication & customer handling skills.
- Thrives in a fast paced, results-oriented environment requiring a high degree of flexibility whilst retaining business disciplines.
