The Modern Application Development group works on latest and emerging digital technologies to bring to

life large digital transformations for our clients. We look for candidates who are digital natives and

demonstrate dexterity in utilizing technology to solve real world problems

The .NET Developer should be multi-skilled professional, with expertise in .NET , C# and Database

technologies. The Developer will be responsible for delivering Desktop and Web applications development

and defect fixes. The Engineer needs to leverage modern solutions and bring development expertise to

ensure applications are developed as per given requirements.

The main goal is to ensure DXC delivers application development services and to continuously improve our

maturity in processes and technology, resulting in best in class technology implementation

The Engineer is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the

services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills.

Responsibilities

 Darwin (Desktop) Application Development

 Project is currently under kind of a maintenance phase

 Address any customer posted issues for root-cause analysis and work arounds

 Develop any scheduled requirements, enhancements, change requests and issue fixes

 Address other Development work assigned by the customer SampleManager (Desktop)

application automation

Desired Skills and Qualifications

 .NET Framework Fundamentals

 OOPs concepts

 C# language

 .NET Remoting basics

 Proficient in .NET Reflection

 MS Windows Communication Foundation

 MS Web Service Extension library

 RDBMS concepts, Oracle DB, SQL and PL/SQL

 Requirements understanding, elaboration, documentation and implementation

 Asynchronous programming

 Multiple Processes programming

 Data Structures concepts

 Design Patterns concepts

 Knowledge on MVC design pattern used in any application development

 Ability to co-relate various application modules with customer another application

modules



 Technologies:

o .NET Framework , C#

o Oracle DB, SQL and PL/SQL

Nice to have skills:

 Pharma LIMS domain knowledge

 Ranorex test automation tool knowledge and scripts development

 Desktop applications automation experience

 Design Patterns concepts

 Understand customized customer automation frameworks
