Number of vacancies : District wise: Ernakulam - Scheduled Caste- (2)Two

Age Limit : 21-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2000 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste Community [including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions].

Qualifications:

(i) Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada.

(ii) Must posses Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle and must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for Heavy Goods and Heavy passenger Vehicles and applications with only one endorsement will be summarily rejected (Vide amendment No. 47/78 to the Motor Vehicles Act.

The Commission advise the Government on all matters relating to civil services referred to it under Article 320 (3) of the Constitution and publish notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities, conduct written test and/or practicKerala PSCal tests, physical efficiency test and interview, prepare ranked list based on the performance of the candidates and advise candidates for appointment strictly based on their merit and observing the rules of reservation as and when vacancies are reported.
