12,000 - 20,000 Per Month Responsibilities and Duties
Editing Assistants will get the opportunity to work with the Chief Editor and are responsible for:
1. Managing the content of the books
2. Overseeing the layout of the books: this includes the layout of content, diagrams, and tables
3. Ensuring accuracy of content, that is, the accuracy of diagrams, proofreading of content and ensuring that the books are without errors
4. Translating the books or other sundry content in other languages e.g. from Hindi to English or vice versa
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for
-Graduates in Science/ Engineering disciplines
-Interest in pursuing a career in publishing and willingness to learn
-Good written and spoken language skills. Command over either English or Hindi language
-Working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word and Adobe Reader.
-Perseverant persons with eye for detail
