Job Description

Editors Job Opportunity At GB Pant University of Agriculture - Technology

Qualifications and experience for editors/proof reader.
(i) Retired or working scientist of concerned subject (agriculture/animal science/veterinary science/biological science/home science/fisheries/agricultural engineering) with minimum 5 years experience of writing, editing or reviewing books in Hindi OR (ii) Persons with M.Sc./M.A. degree of a recognized university having at least ten years experience of editing/proof-reading of scientific literature of agriculture or allied sciences in Hindi in any agriculture or allied science organization or as free-lancer.

Qualification and experience for translators : 
(i) Persons with Master’s degree of a recognized university with 5 years experience of translation of scientific literature of agriculture or allied subjects from English to Hindi and vice-versa in Central or State Government offices, including Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, etc or private sector company


Rate of Honorarium : (i) For editing : Rs. 120/- per thousand word, (ii) For proof-reading : Rs. 50/- per thousand word upto two proof, thereafter Rs. 10/- per page per proof (iii) For translation : Rs. 1000/- per thousand word
