Install, commission, test, and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, or other technical faults as applicable.
Repair, replace, and calibrate defective components and parts.
Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures or maintenance requirements.
Attend customer service calls and resolve technical issues within agreed timelines.
Explain equipment problems, repair requirements, and operating procedures clearly to customers.
Prepare service reports, maintenance records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
Maintain proper records of spare parts, tools, and materials used during service activities.
Coordinate with the Service Manager, Sales Team, Engineering Team, and customers when required.
Ensure all work is carried out according to company procedures, technical specifications, and safety standards.
Follow proper safety practices and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Support equipment commissioning, demonstrations, and customer training when required.
Escalate complex or recurring technical issues to the appropriate engineering or management team.
Maintain good customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Travel to customer locations as required for installation, maintenance, and breakdown support.
Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automobile, or a relevant technical discipline.
1–3 years of relevant experience in service, maintenance, installation, or troubleshooting.
Good understanding of relevant equipment, tools, and diagnostic procedures.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
Basic computer skills for service reporting and documentation.
Valid driving licence may be required for field-service positions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Good mechanical/electrical aptitude.
Hands-on experience with tools and diagnostic equipment.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and ability to prioritize service calls.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
