Job Description
- Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
- Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Supervising electricians.
- Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
- Repair Electrical Systems and act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction.
- Perform regular tests to new and existing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, both to
- spot potential problems and to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality.
- To inspect, repair, replace, adjust, install, wire and maintain electrical mechanical equipment in the plant or an assigned area, including structural, crane, mobile equipment, hydraulics, plumbing and piping maintenance. Make electrical mechanical repairs as required.
