Job Description
Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.
Installs circuit breakers
and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them
Troubleshooting electrical problems in equipment for commercial, industrial, or residential use
Installing electrical wiring in new construction projects such as schools, hospitals, or office buildings
Repairing and maintaining electrical motors and generators used in industrial settings
Inspecting electrical systems to ensure they meet safety guidelines and regulations
Installing electrical wiring and fixtures in homes or businesses
Evaluating electrical equipment to determine possible causes of failure
Repairing electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and power lines
Installing and repairing electrical devices such as security alarms, intercom systems, and fire alarms
Installing and repairing electrical wiring in homes and businesses
