Works independently or under the direction of Heavy Maintenance Supervisor and within approved procedures and technical methods to perform preventive maintenance and overhauls.
Interprets maintenance manuals, schematics and drawings, and prepares drawings or schematics to communicate with others in performance of work.
Dynamic, independent, self motivated team player to perform tests and prepare reports as required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Makes recommendations for technical (hardware and procedural) changes that become evident during performance of maintenance tasks.
Participates in regular training related to maintenance techniques and procedures.
Completes assigned tasks safely and to Company or industry standards using approved work practices and procedures. Accounts for all time materials use in completing each task, signing off the work as being completed to standard.
