Nature of Work:
To operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot the wastewater treatment plant facility and its process.
Work involves responsibilities for the technical aspects of plant operations, maintain the equipment’s in good condition, compliance with state & central operating regulations and adherence of safety standards. Work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of site supervisor, subject to review through reports and results achieved.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ø Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
Ø Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
Ø Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
Ø Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
Ø Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
Ø Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
Ø Calibrate equipment to provided specifications
Ø Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
Ø Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs
Qualifications for Electrician
Ø Diploma or ITI in electrical.
Ø 3-5 years of electrical experience.
Ø Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Ø Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
Ø Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
Ø Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
Ø Willing to work overtime
Physical Requirements:
Ø Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25-30Kgs
Ø Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
Ø Have the ability to descend and climb a maximum of 20 rungs to access tank bottom and inspection of pump stations.
