Position: Smart Meter Installation Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Install and replace smart electricity meters at residential, commercial, and industrial locations.

• Perform meter wiring, electrical connections, and installation as per safety standards and company guidelines.

• Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of smart meters to ensure proper functioning.

• Inspect existing electrical connections and identify installation-related issues.

• Ensure accurate meter readings, communication connectivity, and proper functioning of installed meters.

• Maintain daily installation reports, meter records, and customer details.

• Follow electrical safety procedures and use appropriate tools and equipment during field operations.

• Coordinate with supervisors, field teams, and customers to complete assigned installation targets.

Eligibility Criteria

• ITI Electrician / Wireman or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics.

• Freshers can apply; electrical field experience will be an added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, tools, and safety procedures.

• Must be comfortable with fieldwork and door-to-door meter installation.

• Bike and valid driving licence preferred/required as per project requirements.
