Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and implement embedded software for system on a chip (SOC) bring-up and validation
2. Enhance and maintain the development, debug environments & tools, and review SOC specifications to learn design features including media blocks, CPUs, bus protocols, memory controllers, and power/clock-gating
3. Develop software to interact with all the blocks in the SOC to ensure the SOC chip is an exceptionally implemented and fabricated chip
4. Test and debug complex SOCs by using test software
5. Test software from one SOC architecture to another SOC architecture
6. Create new silicon and execute test plans on pre and post-silicon environments
7. Write software code to establish the root cause of hardware and software issues 8. Develop test regression and debug scripts
