Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Evaluate the desired goal of new systems and then, develop and design a system to achieve the key functionalities
2. Participate in planning, cost development, financial justification, and scheduling for projects
3. Work with vendors and contractors to ensure company personnel is equipped with the knowledge and documentation necessary to adequately assume ownership of the equipment, devices, and control systems on a go-forward basis
4. Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems and make a test case on each key functions
5. Test, monitor, verify the accuracy, verify the effectiveness and perform routine maintenance on all computer programmed and monitored controls
6. Stay current with technology advancements and make recommendations regarding upgrades
7. Develop standards for software and electrical systems for the company's products
8. Make system architecture, flow charts, user case study definitions, and test cases
