Essential Responsibilities of this role:
- Serve as a tapeout owner, taking individual ownership of high-complexity projects.
- Work with customer interface and internal teams to collect and document information required to execute incoming product and/or testsite tapeouts.
- Work with engineers in customer, design enablement, and fab teams to ensure error-free mask creation and fab setup inputs.
- Implement, document, and continuously improve business processes and quality systems related to ensuring efficient and flawless new product tapeouts.
- Effectively communicate progress and challenges and identify areas requiring focus in order to meet project deliverables.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all environmental, health, safety and security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering or physical science discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong organization and leadership skills, ability to work effectively with all levels of Fab and Design Enablement organizations
- Experience with tapeout, New Product Introduction, and fab setup with knowledge in related areas such as mask data preparation, inline metrology, reticle construction, reticle frame building and/or OPC in a semiconductor fab or foundry.
- Semiconductor industry experience in a foundry environment, preferably in an integration/process or tapeout execution role
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people from different cultures on several continents
- Advanced degree (MS)
- Detail-oriented with first-time right quality output
- Understanding of semiconductor design environments, as well as proficiency with layout software tools.
