Role Summary / Purpose:

  • Analysing, designing and implementation of software and applications for enterprise resource programs based on the requirements
  • Leading and participating in ERP development projects and involving in all development-related aspects of our technical operations and infrastructure.
  • To work under the guidance of the team leader and complete the assigned tasks / responsibilities within the deadlines.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling (Database Design and Modeling)
  • ERP Programming
  • Gathering & Analyzing the project requirements and transform them into technical designs.
  • Supporting ERP functions, troubleshooting programs as needed, modifying computer codes and reaching all the project objectives within given time-frames.
  • Maintain software development documentation for future usage with periodical versions.
  • Test and upgrade computer software and provide training to new ERP users with updated applications
  • Preparation and updation of ERP user manuals.
  • Participate in technical meetings and bringing out task plans for all ERP improvements.
  • Gaining an insight into the present trading procedures & business functions and preparing recommendations for changes that may have better effectiveness and quality.

Required knowledge of the following:

  • Working Experience in Odoo / Open ERP will be beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced OOPS (Object Oriented Programming)
  • Development & Troubleshooting of Oracle forms & reports
  • Oracle Database Programming
  • Strong functional knowledge of Core Python, HTML, JavaScript
  • Java Programming
  • Ability to design and develop OdooApps (New module development and customization)
  • Experience in Odoo project implementation base Modules
  • Knowledge on Development, configuration and deployment of Odoo will be beneficial
  • ERP Module Functional knowledge
  • Oracle 10g & Oracle 12c Forms & Reports.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Experience : 0 to 5 years
  • Education : B.E (CSE) / B.Tech (IT) / M.E (CSE) / M.Tech (IT) / B.Sc (CS/IT) / M.Sc (CS/IT) / any relevant specialisation with Computer Science background
  • Industrial Type : Software / Manufacturing / Industrial/ Production/ Machinery
  • Function Area : IT – Software

Skills Required:

  • English, Tamil communication is essential
  • Ability to store and record information accurately
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to translate user requirements of medium to large complexity into efficient and effective technology solutions.
  • Strong functional knowledge of business processes will be beneficial.
  • Good computer related skills
  • Good social and interpersonal skills
  • Open minded ( Ready to learn new skills)
