Engineer – Software, BPM

Job Description:

Provides in-depth technical and business knowledge to ensure efficient design, development and implementation.
Problem solving and creative thinking.
Horizontal knowledge of various technologies and thorough knowledge of at least one technology
Adhere to the software development process defined
Follow best practices within the design and development team in terms of design standards, coding standards, best practices, etc

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of Enterprise Architectural Frameworks, like, Zachman, TOGAF, OOAD
Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services
Working knowledge of Database like, SQL Server/Oracle/DB2/MySQL/PostgreSQL
Programming and Scripting Languages/ Technologies (Java, J2EE, JavaScript, AJAX, (D)HTML, PHP, Perl, Python)
Knowledge of OpenERP will be an added advantage
Keeping pace with standards and methodologies
W3C standards on XML/Web Services
Software Development Methodologies, preferably SCRUM
For BPM – Professional working experience preferably in BPM products like Cordys/Tibco/Pega/Savion/Oracle Fusion/JBPM
Should have excellent communication skills and be able to manage the cultural disparities.
Overall professional experience of 2 to 4 years
Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering
