ON PURPOSE jobs - Environment and Climate Change Content Lead

• ON PURPOSE has built a portfolio of clients in climate action across renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy access and electric mobility.
• Our clients include ReNew Power, Rockefeller Foundation subsidiary, Smart Power India, Asian Development Bank, USAID, WWF and KPMG among others. 
• We are looking for a candidate with minimum 8 years of experience in energy, climate change, sustainability or environment reporting, could be an ex-journalist or a communications professional. 
• Should be comfortable writing short (social media) and long format (blogs, articles, reports) for C-level executives

Understanding of the energy sector

• Be able to track and identify opportunities for clients to be featured as thought leaders
• Be able to write on issues impacting climate change and sustainability
• Be able to take a brief from a client, provide an outline for feedback and discussion and then write short and long form of content 

Skills required

• Copywriting (essential) with flawless grammar and sentence construction
• An understanding of social media and digital platforms and how to place content appropriately as per channels – Twitter, Linked, Facebook, Instagram and Youtube
