Eligibility Criteria: (1) Degree/P. G. Diploma in occupational safety, health or environment management from a recognized University/Institution. (2) A minimum of two years of relevant experience in EHS management is required for the posts of Safety Officer.

(3) A minimum of five years of relevant experience in EHS management is required for the post of EHS Manager. EHS professionals/consultants with more than 10 years’ experience who can work part-time for 12-15 days/month are also eligible.

Essential Qualification/Preferred experience: A) Chemical and gas cylinder safety management B) Biological and Radiological safety management C) Electrical safety management D) Emergency Plan &

Evacuation. E) Hazard & Risk Assessment

Age limit: between 25 - 50 years or below as on 01-01-2019.

Monthly Emoluments: (i) The monthly emoluments for the post of EHS Manager is expected to be in the range of Rs. 70,000–90,000 per month. Emoluments are negotiable in deserving cases.

(ii) The monthly emoluments for the post of EHS Officer is expected to be in the range of Rs. 35,000–50,000 per month. Emoluments are negotiable in deserving cases.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) was founded in 1909 as a result of the joint efforts of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, the Government of India, and the Maharaja of Mysore.
