Unique Job Role: EV Service Technician  

Reporting to: Audit & Service Manager 

Business Unit: Service Function: Service 

Salary: Min 15k to Max 22K 

Language: Kannada or Tamil and English English, 

Location: Chennai/ Bangalore 

Qualification: ITI/ Diploma/ Min 2 Year of Experience in Automobile Service Industry. Hands & experience on the EV vehicles are an additional advantage 

Job Mandate 

The service Technician is responsible for daily execution and improvement of Service, Inventory, Inspecting, Analyzing & troubleshooting of vehicles and equipment on field and Hub. 

Job Responsibilities 

● Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, periodic maintenance, breakdown maintenance on field & Hub.

● Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers problems and provide accurate repair recommendations over the phone 

● Inspect vehicles according to the scheduled plan requirements for the safety of the vehicle. 

● Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives for the quality checks 

● Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records 

● Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. 

● Servicing the vehicles on customers location on time to time basis. 

● Managing the inventory in Hub and reduce the spares consumption by reworking and refurbishing the spares. 

Additional Requirement 

● Ability to operate all auto repair tools 

● Willingness to participate in in-house training 

● Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment is a must.
