About the role 

We are looking for a competent Event coordinator to oversee and organize events that will make an impact and help in furthering our  brand image. 

You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to on-ground execution, event operations, budget and time constraints.  An event coordinator will be working in unison with the Event Manager and essentially is someone who understands marketing and promotion techniques; a vibrant, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with fresh, innovative ideas and organizational skills would be a great fit for this role. 

Key responsibilities 

• Execute the events on ground

 • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success 

• Ensure adherence of the budget

• Communicate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers 

• Coordinate all events’ operations 

• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur 

• Analyze the event’s success, conduct pre-event and post-event market research. and prepare reports

• Collaborate with other departments to promote and publicize events 

• Administers all phases of the event department, including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and  administrative procedures 

Skills and qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred 

• Proven experience as an Event coordinator will be a plus

• Excellent at liaising with sponsors, internal teams, agencies, etc. 

• People skills needed to staff events and coordinate their activities 

• An aptitude for building productive business relationships 

• Ability to oversee multiple projects independently 

• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability 

• Knack for problem-solving
