Responsibilities:
Coordinating with venue staff to ensure that the event runs smoothly and that any technical difficulties are addressed promptly
Managing budgets and finances to ensure that money is not wasted or mismanaged
Overseeing all aspects of event production, including choosing the location, hiring performers or speakers, and designing the decor
Negotiating contracts with vendors on behalf of clients
Developing marketing strategies to promote events through social media and traditional advertising channels such as radio and TV
Coordinating with sponsors to secure funding for events
Recruiting and managing event staff, including event coordinators, marketing directors, and catering managers
Developing an event concept based on client needs, audience demographics, and available resources
Hiring staff to handle the day-to-day operations of an event from set up to tear down
