Job Description

Production planning and inventory control for FORMULATION unit
Resource scheduling and monitoring to achieve the plan.
Coordinate with sales, production, procurement and supply chain team on day to day basis for production planning and inventory management.
It ensures that inventory level is maintained at optimum levels at all time, i.e. there is no over-stocking or under-stocking.
Maintaining the materials inventory as per forecast given marketing department
Maintaining the imported materials inventory as per the lead times (based on the forecast and last year consumption.)
Day and machine wise scheduling to utilize the capacity (maximum usage) properly and to meet the client/sponsor priorities
Arranging the materials delivery in time as per the production scheduled based on the marketing priorities with coordination with sourcing and suppliers.
Revising the production plans as per change in the priorities and materials availability
Comparing the plan vs. actual with day-wise outputs
Planning the materials procurement (indenting) well in advance for forecast given by market dept. (USA and EU & Canada orders)
For Row markets planning the material procurement based on confirmed order.
Close monitoring about new products launching coordinating with packaging for new artworks and marketing dept launch quantities and internal meetings to plan properly
Planning the materials procurement for the projections & confirmed orders received from different countries as per the BOMs/MPC.
Coordinating with Warehouse and QC to release the materials in time and release the MRRs to timely payment for the suppliers.
Coordinating with Warehouse, quality control and suppliers for the rejected materials issues and expired raw materials destroy or replacements.
Intimate the likely dispatch date to the marketing dept for the orders received (after reviewing the materials position and production schedule)
Developing, managing and monitoring the performance of multi-skilled work force and conceptualizing need based training programs for performing maintenance operations
Developing a strong second line leadership and team in each & every department.
It maintains standard of quality through the production life cycle.
