MRV Infotech India Pvt Ltd jobs - Experienced IT support person

 We’re seeking an experienced IT support person or knowledge person to join our family on this journey, using their technology skills to make us even more efficient. In this role, the support person will oversee IT systems and assets, assist with upgrades and fixes, and provide training and support as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network maintenance troubleshooting and services, and industry trends to keep us on the time maintenance as per requirement from the clients and customers. Engaging with employees throughout the company, the IT support person will have an immediate impact on the efficiency on our operations and overall growth.

Objectives of this role

• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, antenna troubleshooting software troubleshooting and hardware and network troubleshooting
• Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements on call basis and availability is must
• Enable faster and smarter business processes
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
• Serve as the subject-matter expert supporting Mac OS X, Windows, and widely used software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Workspace

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support workstation software, system hardware, printers, cameras and phones
• Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost efficiency and accuracy
• Execute systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration, and ensure components meet business needs and work together seamlessly
• Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues
• Train employees in using software and hardware, and provide technical support when needed

Required skills and qualifications

• Minimum 1years of experience in IT products service
• Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or any qualifications
• Professional certification
