Job Description

Application is invited from interested and highly qualified experts for the post of one Expert Consultant for the project funded by Marine Products Export Development Authority and executed by ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute “Assessment of marine mammal stock and bycatch sea turtle bycatch for their protection” for durationof three years.

The Consultant is expected to have the following qualifications: (i) Sound knowledge in marine mammal research as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals; (ii) Expertise in fish stock assessment and fisheries interaction of marine mammals and sea turtles; (iii) Leadership in handling long-term research project on marine mammals; and (iv) Experience in preparation of documents and reports of international standard. 

The Expert Consultant will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand) per month.
