Job Role: Farm Technician
Eruvaka is looking for a committed and self-starter ‘Farm Technician’ to provide technical support to Aquaculture farmers with the on-farm deployment of Auto-Feeding and Pond Management solutions at Customer’s farms.
The purpose of the Farm Technician role is to assist in delivering on project goals, providing technical assistance on the farm and to support the customer with the functional activities of Eruvaka auto-feeding systems.
Specific Activities will include:
Assisting with the set-up and monitoring of On-Farm Auto-Feeding and Pond Monitoring systems
Assisting with the collection, entering and summarization of data, such as weekly pond sampling data,
harvest data, pond-level daily activity data, etc.
Assisting in the overseeing of tasks completed by farm labour to ensure accurate operations of the
devices. Monitoring of daily feeding in the ponds and ensuring the feeding requirements are met.
Performing all tasks and behaving in a manner compliant with and in support of all company policies and
practices, including completing all required company activities at the farm.
Effectively communicating regularly with customer and with supervisors regarding the status of the
projects and work activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have 1-2yrs of work experience in managing day-to-day activities on shrimp/fish farms with good knowledge of aquaculture activities.
Candidates with Fisheries background will be preferred
