A US based company is looking for a design consultant who can create a range of formal/semi-formal womenswear garments for their new product launch. Ideal person should be local to Delhi or NCR region.

Responsibilities

Creative Direction and Collection Development.

• Developing Brand USP & IdentityConcept Board / Story Board Development
• Textile Identification & Sourcing
• Trim Identification / Development & Sourcing
• Factory identification and orientation ( towards brand & expectations thereof)
• Developing Sketches / Line Sheets & Tech Packs
• Develop surface swatches (if any)
• Pattern development & Specing / test fits review & finalization
• Prototype development
• Costing
• Overseeing shipping of samples

Qualifications: :

• Very creative, out-of-box thinker
• Strong sense of aesthetics, organization skills and market understanding
• Keen eye for fit, shapes and silhouettes; Attention to details
• Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
• Strong experience with creating high quality, high-end, formal/semi-formal womenswear range; couture experience preferred.
• Open to experiment with different materials and techniques to create unique and interesting designs
• Good 3D visualization and sketching ability
