About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Support with field activities during POC testing and troubleshooting of products
2. Work on physical and networking connections between smart grid elements such as energy meters, data loggers, etc. and our smart plugs and controllers
3. Be able to run debug scripts and troubleshoot the Raspberry Pi by using remote guidance/support from the engineering team
4. Integrate internally developed smart grid hardware and software applications with any third-party tools/programs

Other requirements

1. Must either be a diploma or BS in electrical and electronics engineering, computer science, or mechatronics engineer with 1-2 years of experience in smart grid automation

Sustain Impact is a technology-focused startup working in the area of sustainable energy, electric vehicles, and the power sector. The company was founded in 2017 and has served distinguished clients including BRPL, CESC, Tata Power, Renault Motors to name a few. The founding team members are from IIT and IIM and have an interest in the energy sector and using emerging IT technologies like blockchain, IoT to provide solutions for the energy sector. We intend to develop products, which address key gaps on the demand side of the power sector such as demand response, P2P energy trading, vehicle to grid, etc.
