Job Description

Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata (ISI Kolkata) invites application for the position Field Assistant

No of Post: 02

Qualifications :

i) Essential: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university.

ii) Desirable:

(a) Experience (3-4 years) in collection of plant samples in the field and related lab work;

(b) Basic knowledge of computer applications;

(c) Experience in handling nano- material (Project 2)

Job description : Field sample collection, sample preparation for project related experimental work, data entry and preliminary work on data preparation.

Pay (for all Projects) : Rs.20000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) per month (Consolidated pay with no other allowances).

Tenure of appointment (for all Projects) : The duration of the appointment is initially till 31 March 2022 from the date of his/her joining the institute which may be extended later/terminated earlier based on performance and availability of the required fund. The candidate shall not have any claim for regular appointment.

Age Limit: Should not exceed 40 years as on 01 June 2021. Usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/differently abled candidates as per Government of India rules.
