Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
Conduct market visits and work on pitching
Conduct daily visits (hybrid - physical visit/remote calling) to small supermarkets and grocery stores within the assigned territory
Work on effectively pitching and demonstrating the features and benefits of our spice products to store owners, managers, and decision-makers; also showcase the uniqueness and quality of our spice products to create interest and enthusiasm among potential buyers
Build and maintain positive relationships with store personnel to ensure a favorable impression of our brand
Work on lead conversion
Identify and engage potential leads through market research
Employ persuasive communication skills to address potential concerns, answer questions, and overcome objections that potential buyers may have
Tailor product presentations to align with the specific needs and preferences of each store, showcasing how our spice products can enhance their offerings and attract customers
Utilize negotiation techniques to close sales deals, striving to convert leads into committed buyers
Work on daily Excel reporting
Maintain a structured and organized daily routine to document all visits, interactions, and outcomes in an Excel spreadsheet
Record essential details such as the store visited, contact person, discussions held, feedback received, and any promising leads generated
Create a comprehensive and accurate daily report summarizing the day's activities, including the number of visits, successful pitches, potential leads, and challenges faced
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics related to spice products to effectively address customer inquiries and stand out in sales presentations
