Department Overview
Enterprise Financial Reporting is a functional area within the Corporate Controller's division responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and complete external financial reporting. This includes but is not limited to US Regulatory Filings (SEC, FRB, OCC, FDIC) and standalone legal entity reporting.
Strategic Initiatives supports many of the EFR Controllership initiatives including key projects, risk identification and remediation, data provisioning, governance and testing, among others. The SI mandate provides for change management, implementation leadership, remediation identification, tactical fixes, organizational design and strategic operating model support. The Strategic Initiatives Team consists of eONE Report Implementation and Overall Program Support, Change Management and Remediation / Implementation and Other Enterprise Support.
About The RoleEnterprise Financial Reporting (Regulatory Reporting) is a functional area within the Corporate Controller's division responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and complete external regulatory reporting.
The ESG Offshore resources support the Financial Reporting Team by performing data collection, aggregation, consolidation, reconciliation, first-level analysis, pre-production activities, initial report preparation, and variance analysis and associated report preparation activities. They also perform operational processes such as data compilation, reconciliation, and schedule preparation.
Wells Fargo's Regulatory and Basel Reporting team (RBR) EGS India Team is responsible for supporting the filing of regulatory reports with regulatory agencies and has many ongoing projects related to the enterprise-wide implementation of centralized data management infrastructure and the COSO-based governance and oversight framework.
RBR is looking for a senior regulatory and financial reporting Analyst 5/Lead to join the team to review and analyze various Regulatory Reporting schedules. This key role will be responsible for supporting senior management impact assessments supporting regulatory amendments and / or implementation of new accounting standards or regulatory rules. Core responsibilities will also include providing significant input into the narrative to the Board Meeting Financial Summaries for Wells Fargo Bank N.A and the other smaller Wells Fargo Depository Institutions. In addition to these core responsibilities, this key function will also support related process improvement and regulatory reporting infrastructure implementation initiatives.

lers & G/L with specific emphasis on the FFIEC031,FR Y9C, FR2900 - Candidates should have skills with emphasis on Capital Reporting (Risk Weighted Assets) and solid analytical skills. These candidates should have some exposure to related Regulatory disclosures – FFIEC101, 102 and Pillar 3.
- Candidates will be expected to leverage data quality analysis skills Knowledge of tools like SQL, Toad are important.
- Report generation and filing SEC, Broker Dealer, or other Regulatory Reporting
- Conduct regulatory capital analysis, perform capital calculation and report accordingly
- Conduct daily customer calculations and reporting to satisfy CFTC regulations
- Review Broker/ Dealer activities and conduct focus reporting.
- Conduct customer reserve calculations to satisfy Rule 15c3-3 requirements
- Customer Reserve and PAB calculations to satisfy Rule 15c3-3 requirements.
- Daily net capital estimate to satisfy the requirements of 15c3-1.
- Maintain and obtain SME knowledge of the main Regulatory Reporting requirements.
- Prepare and/or support preparation of info to board level financial summaries
- Partners with Corporate Accounting Policy, Business Controllers and the Regulatory Interpretations Team to ensure that consistent adherence to regulatory rules including assessment of scheduled changes.
- Implement change management effectively communicating regulatory reporting changes to all stakeholders
- Ensure the compliance with requirements under the Company's Regulatory Reporting Governance & Oversight Framework
- Provide input to impact of reporting deficiencies; communicate and facilitate the discussion with line of business reporting team for resolution; track and document the resolution implementation cycle from report owner perspectives.
- Assist in setting standards for a robust report review process to ensure the fulfillment of report owner responsibility.
Essential Qualifications
- Demonstrated history of being an independent self-starter, ability to effectively communicate at all levels and capable of working efficiently to meet tight deadlines
- Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA Up to 9 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting
- Or: Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting
- Demonstrate solid Accounting skills from a Regulatory Reporting perspective.
- Ability to supervise work flow and task execution within a team environment
- Solid experience in US Regulatory Reporting
- Public Accounting Certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels
- Solid project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used to: plan, conduct, and direct the analysis of complex business problems
- Ability to provide leadership to a team of accounting professionals
