What you will be doing:
- The individual will perform detailed financial analysis and report creation and have responsibility for the end to end analytic reporting in the team.
- The role includes creation of deliverables for executive leadership, so the successful candidate must be highly organized with a keen eye for detail and be able to quickly respond to leadership ad hoc requests.
- Performs Balance Sheet review and maintaining Balance Sheet reconciliation schedules.
- Provides Pipeline Reporting, Pro forma and profitability analysis.
- End to End responsibility of the entity during month end close.
- Month end activity consists of posting of Journals, extraction of reports to prepare Journals & responding to customer queries on time.
- Calculating and posting of accruals, deferral, prepayment, provisions and other adjustment journals on a monthly basis.
- Prepares and reviews client invoices. Provide reporting and assistance to account teams with time processing
- Ensures Software Revenue Recognition guidelines are being followed.
- Researches and compiles data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.
- Prepares reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies.
- Shift timing - 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
What you bring:
- Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
- Proficient in Excel for financial analytics and data modeling; PowerPoint for creation of executive-level presentations; and reasonable working knowledge on Word and Outlook for completion of work.
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication - To effectively communicate with team members, internal clients, and all levels of management of the Firm.
- Understands financial accounting (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows) and financial and operational metrics/KPIs (key performance indicators).
- Proficient, or able to become proficient quickly, with FIS financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion, others as needed).
